One talented youngster sings “Hey Jude” during a street performance, and something beautiful happens. As 7-year-old Leo Protsenko sings the legendary Beatles song, the crowd around him starts singing along. What a beautiful and joyful musical experience that brings everyone together.

As this musical youngster sings “Hey Jude,” his sister, Karolina Protsenko, cheers him on during the street performance. “I’m so proud of my little brother Leo!” Karolina shares in a YouTube comment. “Seeing people sing ‘Hey Jude’ together with him was such a beautiful moment.”

The Talented Protsenko Family 

Leo is part of the talented Protsenko family, where everyone has a deep love for one another and music. Karolina, the oldest of her siblings, is a talented young musician who plays violin, sings, and also loves to read and bake. Leo is known to pick up any instrument and sing along whenever he hears the music. We can also see that he is very good at playing piano. Nicholas, the youngest of the bunch, also plays piano and uses his voice to add music to the family.

“We wanted to write a lyric that showed vulnerability but, at the same time, be said in a manly way, [because] we wrote the song with Billy in mind, never dreaming he would actually cut it and put it out as a single!” Jennifer said. “Usually when you sit down and write for a particular artist, it never turns out the way you want it to, but this time, it did.”

The Voice 2026 has already featured so many wonderful singers. It won’t be easy for Hunter to compete, even with his incredible skills. But I’m sure of one thing—he won’t be one of the first to go home, because the judges are clearly thoroughly impressed to their core with this performance.

When it comes to children’s programs, kids and parents have plenty of options. Of course, some are better, significantly so in some cases, than others. Also, while the series or the show may be labeled or directed at children, some parents may not always agree. Mom and Dad would have to monitor the content to make sure their kiddos weren’t watching anything deemed inappropriate.

One show that parents never had to worry about was “VeggieTales.” If you grew up in the 90s or early 2000s or if you had kids growing up in those decades, odds are you are intimately familiar with “VeggieTales.” For those who may not be aware, it was a children’s animated series that told the stories of the Bible. But instead of people, much like the show’s title suggests, vegetables served as the main characters. Larry, a cucumber, and Bob, a tomato, were the lovable main characters.

Much like every other show in existence, “VeggieTales” also had a theme song. It’s a catchy, unforgettable tune that children viewers loved and, after hearing it over and over, most parents likely despised. Well, that theme song is back, and it’s received quite the makeover. In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man gave the “VeggieTales” theme song a rock sound and feel.

How could you not enjoy this? It’s such a departure from the original theme song that even just hearing this rendition is likely to put a big smile on your face. Plus, let’s be serious, you still know the words and will probably sing along, too!

The Gardiner brothers got some help with their “Jolene” dance routine. The incredibly talented dancing siblings got a helping, or more accurately, an extra pair of sure-footed feet, for their choreographed number set to the Dolly Parton classic. Dance has to be, without question, the most challenging of all art forms to master. The others, like painting and filmmaking, require skill, a ton of hard work and great attention to detail. However, dance, in my estimation, tops them all when it comes to the level of difficulty.
Like the others, dance also requires attention to detail and a lot of natural talent and skill. 

However, people can practice for years, making a huge investment of blood, sweat and tears, and still only be a marginal, passable dancer. Also, it goes without saying that possessing a fair amount of athletic ability is crucial to being a successful dancer, whereas that is not the case with the others.

That is all that it takes to be a strong dancer when doing it just by yourself. Now, add one, two or even more dancers to the mix, and the difficulty level has increased significantly. Choreographed dances, while they might look good and are captivating, are a ton of work and require impeccable timing to pull off. In a clip posted on YouTube, the Gardiner brothers challenge themselves further by adding another person to their routine, showing off their stuff to “Jolene,” a tune by the legendary and incomparable Dolly Parton.

As you would expect, the dance routine is superb, with each member of the trio staying in sync with one another the entire time, never missing a step for even a second. It’s yet another captivating display that will leave you asking, “How did they do that?”

Dance is something that anyone, regardless of age or skill level, can do. You don’t even have to have any idea what you’re doing. All that’s required is some good music and a place big enough to demonstrate what you’ve got. Simply feel the music, and away you go.

However, just because you have the ability to do something, does that mean you should? I can, theoretically, go out and run a marathon without having worked up to it. Of course, I wouldn’t be able to run the entire 26.2 miles of the race, not even close. But I guarantee I could finish it. I wouldn’t break any records, and in fact, my time would probably be pretty embarrassing and painful. That’s kind of how I look at dancing. I can do it, but I shouldn’t and it would be a painful sight for everyone in the vicinity.

I prefer to leave the dancing to those who know what they are doing. A clip posted on YouTube captures two young men – the Gardiner brothers – who know what they are doing. They have the dancing thing covered.

In their latest video, they pull off a stunning routine to one of Michael Jackson’s biggest, most memorable hits – “Rockin’ Robin.” The speed at which the two brothers move their feet and legs is pretty amazing. Not only do they move at a shocking speed, but their movements are extremely precise, as they stay entirely in sync with one another.

It's a totally captivating display of talent and skill, one you’ll likely have to watch several times to fully appreciate their routine.

Musical covers are here to stay, and anyone who thought they might be on their way out will be sorely disappointed. The argument could be made that covers are more popular than they have been in quite some time. Given the continued popularity of shows like American Idol, The Voice, and America’s Got Talent, where nearly every musical performance is a cover, and the fact that YouTube, with its hundreds of thousands of cover videos, is one of the most visited websites, covers are everywhere.

As anyone knows, not all covers are created equally. Sure, every musician and band may give it their all, but the end product is not always memorable. In fact, they can often be performances that we wish we could forget. But then others give the original a run for its money, and even the rare ones in which the cover is better.

In a clip posted on YouTube, an incredibly talented family of musicians performs The Eagles’ “Peaceful Easy Feeling.” Now, I’m not saying their rendition matches the original, because it does not. But, like everything else this family does, it is most definitely worth a listen, and maybe even several.

The Clark family has shown through their countless videos that they possess the skill and talent to play just about everything. The father can sing just about anything, and the youngsters are pretty good, too. In this performance, one of the young men softly drums upon a chair, making even that sound good and fit perfectly with their performance.

Even the most diehard Eagles fan will have a hard time finding a complaint with the fantastic cover of “Peaceful Easy Feeling.”

Chris Tomlin reminded everyone that joyful faith can be full of laughter, lighthearted moments, and a little surprise, too, as he covered a Willie Nelson tune and even a Disney classic. You’ll have to watch and see!

He sang a few notes from his latest single, “How Good It Is,” and then pulled a prompt asking him to sing a song from his childhood. With a grin, he shared, “My dad taught me to play guitar when I was 9 years old. And it was the first song he taught me to play.” The song? “On the Road Again” by Willie Nelson. He had a grin as he sang the 1980 classic that nearly everyone knows by heart.

Jared Halley displays an incredible amount of range in this single-man a cappella as he transitions between unique sounds of high and low to make this thrilling "The Final Countdown" a cappella cover. He somehow even manages to mimic instruments like the guitar with his voice. The only real instrument he uses is a hand maraca. 

The video visually conveys all his effort across 16 frames. In a couple of them, he’s dancing in the background, which makes “The Final Countdown" a cappella cover even more entertaining, even though it’s highly entertaining anyway. 

“The Final Countdown” is a song that carries so much energy. It’s originally sung by a Swedish all-male band called Europe, and was released in 1986.

Singer Joey Tempest came up with the tune for the song before the lyrics came.

The band is still together today, and they still love performing their biggest hit for fans. 

“I love looking out at all the smiling faces when then that intro kicks in,” Joey said. “In all four corners of the world I’m often told that it’s a bucket-list moment for fans who never saw us play it before. And that’s a very special thing for a musician to hear.”

As the busker, Jacob Koopman, sings on the street strumming his guitar, it seems there’s something authentic and raw in his voice. He sings with the kind of personal quality that every star possesses. I believe this young man is going places.

I still say that some of the biggest criminals are those that turn their heads away when they see wrong and know it’s wrong.”

Jacob Koopman’s Bob Dylan street cover is a lovely nod to the song, and it is performed well. Any Bob Dylan fan will certainly enjoy it.

25-year-old Abigayle Oakley gets all chairs to immediately turn on The Voice. Her performance is just incredible. Watch the video to see if you agree!

Her version of “Call Your Girlfriend” is unique and sweet. She has a beautiful voice that you just can’t help but fall into. 

All three judges immediately smashed their buttons, not even 3 seconds into the song during Abigayle Oakley’s The Voice audition. 

“I am such a fan of what you do. The second you started singing all three of us were like ‘Boom. Let’s go,’ because you have a special thing we all picked up on instantaneously and we turned around because you have something special, it just shines through no matter what,” judge Adam Levine told her. “I always hope that someone that does something different can carry the flag for this show, someone that is disruptive while also just being so authentic, and that’s what you have in spades and something that I just really hope that I get to be a part of.”

Abigayle Oakley’s The Voice is a Wonderful Performance 

The daughter of two musicians, Abigayle has been singing her whole life. She recently won the Kerrville New Folk Competition and has already gone on tour with other artists such as The War and Treaty, Jed and The Valentine, Forest Blakk and more. She has a debut EP out called “Vegas” and already has an album out, called, “Recovering Optimist.” She will release another EP later this year. 

Abigayle Oakley’s The Voice blind audition shows her obvious talent. She makes her performance seem completely effortless. Her song choice excellently matches her slightly sad-sounding, yet beautiful voice. Some of the lyrics she sings are:

You have likely never seen anything like this. The creativity of this audition is amazing and will inspire you to think outside the box. A group of young people takes the stage to shine.

They even use their shirts under their jackets as part of the performance. The girls in the middle use their arms to extend outward to the others.

The dancers finish the performance, and the lead dance captain comes out cheering. The judges say that their dance routine was different and exceptional. They discuss how if one person misses their moment, then everything falls apart. The choreographer comes out on the stage in tears and is complimented. The judges approve this group with great zeal.

Freddie Bailey grew up admiring Keith, but like many kids with big dreams, seeing his hero perform live wasn’t something he could afford. Instead, he did the next best thing—he learned to play guitar and began chasing the same dream.

By the time he was nine years old, Freddie had already picked up a guitar and started practicing. Years later, at just 17, he walked onto the stage for his Blind Audition and made a bold choice: he sang Urban’s own song, ‘Wild Hearts,’ right in front of the country superstar himself. Tia DuRant starts out on The Voice interviewing backstage. She is fumbling over her words and laughing it off. Tia has a fun personality and shares that she is 32-years-old and from Sumter, South Carolina. 

They show a clip of her in her small town talking about her big dreams. Tia shares her story of going into a banking career after graduating from high school. She says that she woke up every day wanting to sing and realized that her desire was to help people through music. She made the bold move to quit her job to pursue her singing career. She is thrilled about the opportunity and walks onto the stage.

As Tia starts singing, she hits low notes that wow the judges. Her voice is spectacular, and the song builds, and you get antsy to see if the judges will turn their chairs. She has such grit and zeal. 

Finally, as she belts a high note, two of the judges hit their red buttons at the same time. She is relieved and thrilled. When she says, “whoo hoo,” she makes a train conductor gesture, and Kelly Clarkson loves it. Tia puts on quite the audition and wows everyone listening. 

The audience cheers, and the judges are excited about her. The judges desire for her to be on their teams. In the end, she goes with the wonderful team, Kelly, which makes perfect sense for these two powerhouse vocalists to pair up and work together.

Sometimes, in our own lives, it is beneficial to slow down and simplify. As we hear this southern girl's voice, this song will remind us of the beauty in seemingly small places.

This talented duo's fantastic acoustic cover of CCR’s iconic hit is so refreshing. The Brazilian couple, known worldwide as the Overdriver Duo, does a wonderful job of making “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” their own. Play the video to give it a listen. 

The Creedence Clearwater Revival hit never fails to strike an emotional chord. Band member John Fogerty actually wrote the song about the band’s impending breakup. It’s all heartache, frustration, and the recollection of once-pleasant memories.

“That song is really about the impending breakup of Creedence. The imagery is, you can have a bright, beautiful, sunny day, and it can be raining at the same time,” John said previously. “The band was breaking up. I was reacting, ‘Geez, this is all getting serious right at the time when we should be having a sunny day.’”

Later in his life, the song’s meaning changed for John.

“It started out as a sad song many years ago,” he said later. “It was about a sad occasion in my life, but I refuse to be sad now. These days, it’s a very happy song, because it reminds me of my beautiful, little baby girl, Kelsy, and that is the truth.”

It’s just a lovely song to hear, whatever way you hear it. The Overdriver Duo doesn’t have the hard edge in its sound that CCR has, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t sound any less interesting or mesmerizing. They sound more gentle, but just as deep. This CCR acoustic cover is one of those videos that you just want to keep playing again and again.

A 92-year-old received a standing ovation for her jaw-dropping Britain’s Got Talent performance. No one, including the show’s judges, saw this stunning and unforgettable moment coming. Watch the short but delightful clip to listen to this older woman’s excellent musical performance.

Aging is a natural process that remains unsolved. Despite many beauty products that claim otherwise, stopping or avoiding aging is not possible. With every passing second, minute, hour and day, we get a little older, and there’s nothing we can do to stop or reverse that process. So, why not accept it?

Getting older is something that many people find bothersome. They refuse to mention their age or even acknowledge their birthday, but why? Why not celebrate it and enjoy the time that we’ve been given? Life is too short to sit back and sulk and pout about getting older, which is, again, something we cannot do anything about anyway.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman in her 90s, Shani Wallis, took the Britain's Got Talent stage and blew the judges and the studio audience away with her fantastic musical performance. Not only was she excellent, earning a standing ovation from the studio audience and the show’s four judges, but she also revealed several pieces of information no one expected before her performance.

“I was here, on this stage, 70 years ago,” she said.

Later in the clip, the woman told everyone where they might have seen her before.

“Well, you all probably remember me as the female star of the Academy Award-winning motion picture ‘Oliver,’” she said.

She played the character Nancy in the movie, and for her audition, she sang, what else, but a song from that beloved movie.

How could you not love that moment? That is why shows such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and Britain’s Got Talent exist.

A band of young musicians dazzled with their jaw-dropping Journey cover. The gifted group of young men and women showcased their considerable musical talents with a delightful rendition of a tune known and loved by many. Some bands, regardless of how much time passes, will never be forgotten. Their musical contributions are so vast and beloved that their songs will always be played. Of course, we can all rattle off a handful of bands that most certainly fit into that category. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, The Eagles and many, many others.

Now, one additional band that is most definitely a classic and loved by many, but not at the level of The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, is Journey. Of course, the song of theirs that first comes to mind whenever they are mentioned is the terribly overplayed and overrated “Don’t Stop Believin’.” I understand people love that song, but there are other tunes in the world, and believe it or not, Journey even had other songs as well, including “Separate Ways.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of youngsters who call themselves The Graystones put on a fabulous and jaw-dropping performance of “Separate Ways.” The amount of talent and skill on display in the four-minute clip is incredibly shocking. We are just not used to hearing kids that young sound that good.

Everyone in the group gives an amazing performance, from the keyboardist to the drummer and the young lady singing lead vocals. However, the kid on guitar steals the show. His solo, which is around the three-minute mark in the clip, will literally cause your jaw to drop.

Even those who are not Journey fans, like me, will be thoroughly impressed with this fantastic performance from a group of kids.

Reba McEntire led a sing-along of a classic tune on the set of her sitcom. The entertainment legend had everyone in the studio audience, and even some cast members, singing this beloved Neil Diamond song. Filming movies and television shows is difficult work and often results in long, stressful days. When working on a film or television set, it’s not abnormal to regularly put in 10 to 12-hour days. Since everyone is trying to get a lot done on a strict deadline, this can cause some tension and anxiety. When things don’t go according to plan on set, people can lash out at one another and blame each other for this or that going wrong. That’s a work environment that no one wants.

That’s when things become stressful and overwhelming on set; it’s a good idea to do something to change and lighten the mood for the cast and crew. It really doesn’t matter what it is as long as it keeps people from screaming and yelling at each other. It appears that Reba has found a unique and fun way to keep things fun on the set of “Happy’s Place.”

In a clip posted on social media, the Queen of Country Music has the studio audience singing one of the greatest, most infectious and catchiest songs of all time: Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline.”  Not only does she direct those watching the filming of the NBC show, but she also joins in, as do several other castmates.

If you thought this was a one-time thing, you would be badly mistaken. Reba, in her post, mentioned that these musical performances take place every day on set.

“One of my favorite parts of each day on set: our sing-alongs with the audience,” she wrote.
