Lucy Thomas Stuns with Cover of 'Unchained Melody' by The Righteous Brothers

Lucy Thomas, an incredibly talented and musically gifted young woman, turned in a stunning cover performance of The Righteous Brothers’ classic, “Unchained Melody.”

Every year, musicians release hundreds, possibly even thousands, of songs, hoping their recordings gain some attention. Sadly, that is rarely the case. Most songs produced and released will go unheard by most of the population. Even when people do hear songs, they may completely forget they ever listened to a particular tune.

However, some songs stay in our brains and stick with us for years, perhaps even decades, after their initial release date. Some songs are iconic, so whenever played, within the first handful of notes, everyone within earshot will immediately recognize them. People will instantly start singing or humming along, even if they aren’t fans of that tune. That’s how ingrained some songs have become.

One song that everyone knows is The Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody.” The song from the 60s has been covered hundreds, maybe even thousands of times over the years. In a clip posted on YouTube, the supremely talented Lucy Thomas supplies us with her version of The Righteous Brothers’ track.

As is expected, Lucy’s cover is phenomenal. She uses her beautiful voice to expertly belt out those iconic lyrics about missing and longing for someone. She also puts her spin on the song, moving her voice up and down in different places from the original version. This is one cover of “Unchained Melody” that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly.

The song’s opening verse has to be one of the most iconic in music history. You likely won’t be able to read those words without singing them or, at the very least, hear the song in your head as you read them.

“Woah, my love, my darling

I’ve hungered for your touch

A long, lonely time

And time goes by so slowly”

Ephesians 5:19 “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;”

Child's Unbelievable Rendition of Celine Dion Hit

A young child turned in an unbelievable and startlingly good rendition of a Celine Dion hit.

Popular television programs like America’s Got Talent, American Idol and The Voice have given previously undiscovered and overlooked talented people an opportunity to pursue their dreams. As a result, many are now well acquainted with the music of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery and Chris Daughtry.

Those people and many others were given a voice, a platform to showcase their talent.

However, while those programs remain popular, there are other ways to obtain a career in singing and entertaining audiences. Social media has become a massive part of our world, and most of the time, it’s only a few clicks and a couple of swipes away from us at any given time.

Understanding the popularity of social media, musicians have turned to platforms like Facebook, Twitter and TikTok to get noticed for their musical talents. For some, the right performance could be seen by millions of people.

A clip posted on TikTok shows one young man sitting on a kitchen counter, looking at an iPad-type device. In the background, Celine Dion’s classic “The Power of Love” plays. When Celine begins singing, the little guy on the counter also does, and his vocal performance is shocking!

In a matter of seconds, it’s clear that the young man scrolling on the iPad has been blessed with abundant musical talent. Anyone who can adequately sing a song previously performed by Celine Dion has talent. She possesses a big, one-of-a-kind voice and sings songs with incredibly high notes that fully demonstrate her powerful voice.

Who knew such a fantastic, big, booming voice could come from someone so small? It shows that we should never limit or underestimate people because we never know what abilities and skills God has blessed them with and what they can do with them.

Psalm 104:33 “I will make songs to the Lord all my life; I will make melody to my God while I have my being.”

Gardiner Brothers Amaze with Stunning Dance Routine in Tokyo

The incredibly talented and sure-footed Gardiner Brothers have once again amazed with their stunning dance routine, this time in Tokyo, Japan.

Becoming good at something requires hard work, time and patience. It also helps if you have some natural talent, but even that will only carry you so far. No one picks up a guitar and immediately becomes Jimi Hendrix or Keith Richards. Mastering anything takes time and constant and consistent work, which does not and will not happen over the course of one hour or one afternoon.

Dance is like anything else. It takes hard work, determination and time; even then, you may only be a serviceable, passable dancer. To get to the point that your dance steps and moves cause people to sit up and take notice requires an absurd level of talent and commitment.

The Gardiner Brothers – Mike and Matthew – have that kind of talent. The five-time World Champion Irish dancers consistently demonstrate why they are highly decorated dancers. The guys travel all over the world, filming themselves as they dance in one recognizable location after another. Their routines are always captivating, leaving you unable to take your eyes off their feet due to the speed at which they move.

In one of their latest social media posts, the guys recorded themselves in Tokyo as they performed a stunning little dance routine. Dancing to an Irish-sounding tune, Mike and Matthew move their feet and tap their toes on the ground in quick, synchronized succession while in the middle of Shibuya Street.

The guys wrote in the short clip's caption, “Had to show off a little bit of Ireland in Japan!”

These guys never fail to impress, with each video seemingly better than the last one. Where they will show off their fancy footwork next is anyone’s guess!

Psalm 149:3 “Let them give praise to his name in the dance: let them make melody to him with instruments of brass and corded instruments of music.”

Trio's Delightful Cover of 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' Captivates

A trio of incredibly gifted and skilled musicians captivated audiences with their absolutely delightful take on John Denver’s classic, “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

Musicians are a talented group of people. Some individuals may be blessed with the ability to sing, like Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, belting out high note after note. Others may have quick and nimble fingers and can easily play various instruments. All of those skills are incredibly necessary for the construction and playing of a song.

However, nearly every song heard on the radio or anywhere else, for that matter, wouldn’t work (except for instrumentals, of course) without lyrics. Someone must write the words a singer belts out first. Songwriting is an often underappreciated and overlooked musical skill. It was also one in which the legendary John Denver excelled. With his beautifully written lyrics, he painted beautiful pictures, taking listeners on a musical journey.

In a clip posted on YouTube, three musicians play John’s most famous and beloved tune, “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” Their bluegrass version of John’s timeless track is lovely and is one cover you’ll want to listen to repeatedly.

According to the video’s description, the musicians in the clip are just three friends who occasionally play together. Most people would agree they’d like to hear more from this trio.

“Take Me Home, Country Roads” has one of the most memorable and iconic choruses ever.

“Country roads, take me home

To the place I belong

West Virginia, mountain mama

Take me home, country roads”

Even those who are not John Denver or country/folk music fans know and appreciate “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” It’s a simple but beautifully written tune about a situation to which most people can easily relate and connect with. Who doesn’t want to be at the place where they are most comfortable and happy?

Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' Gets Beautiful Cover By Talented Woman

In a serene forest setting, the notes of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide’ gets a beautiful cover by a talented woman. Indigo Skookum stood among the trees, singing a heartfelt cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide.’ Dressed in black pants and a blue printed shirt and adorned with a cowgirl hat, she strummed her belated father’s guitar. The birds chirped softly in the background, adding a natural symphony to her poignant performance.

This tribute was not just a song but a profound homage to her late father, a man who was more than just a father to her. The guitar, his cherished possession, symbolized their shared love for music. In a heartfelt caption, she shared the significance of the moment: “When I miss my Dad, I play his guitar.  He loved it when I sang this, but he never heard me play it. So yesterday, I sang it outside in my yard, with the birds for backup.”

Each strum of the guitar, each note of her voice, resonated with the love and memories she held for him. The guitar, once her father’s, carried not only the melody of the song but also the echoes of a cherished past. Her voice, filled with raw emotion and grace, flowed through the woods, touching the hearts of all who heard it, leaving an indelible mark on their souls.

As she sang, the lyrics of ‘Landslide’ seemed to take on new meaning. The song's reflection on change and the passage of time mirrored her own journey of loss and remembrance. Standing there in the quiet beauty of the forest, she connected deeply with the words, allowing her grief to transform into a celebration of her father's life and legacy.

The forest, with its timeless beauty and tranquility, provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate moment. The birds’ gentle chirping seemed to harmonize with her voice, creating a moving blend of nature and music. It was as if the entire forest joined in her tribute, honoring the bond between father and daughter and reminding us of the eternal cycle of life and love.

In this touching scene, Indigo’s performance of ‘Landslide’ was more than just a song; it was a powerful act of love and remembrance. Her voice, the guitar, and the natural surroundings came together to create a moment of profound beauty and inspiration. Through her music, she not only honored her father's memory but also found a way to heal and celebrate the enduring impact of his life on hers. What a beautiful way to honor the late memory of her dad.

Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Six-String Soldiers' Stunning Rendition of 'Ring of Fire'

An incredibly talented group of musicians, Six-String Soldiers, turned in a stunning rendition of one of the most beloved songs of all time, “Ring of Fire.”

Some musicians' work is so legendary and beloved that it has impacted and will continue to influence music long after they are gone. Those kinds of musicians who immediately come to mind are Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson. All of them are revered worldwide for their musical contributions.

Those people changed how music is played and sounds. Because of their inventive style and sound, musicians continue to try and replicate and mimic their sound. While some come closer than others in sounding like those legends, they will never duplicate their sound. There will never be another Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson.

Johnny Cash is another legendary musician whose music and sound are constantly played and covered. He is considered a giant in the country music world and in music in general. Even if you’re not a country music fan, you still more than likely enjoy a Johnny Cash song or two.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the Six-String Soldiers perform what is easily Johnny’s most memorable and iconic tune, “Ring of Fire.”

If you listened to his vocal performance with your eyes closed, you might fool yourself into thinking it was Johnny Cash singing.

According to their YouTube channel, Six-String Soldiers is a five-member group that mainly plays “country, Americana and bluegrass music.” The group was formed by active-duty soldiers back in 2015 “who were looking for ways to fulfill the Army’s commitment to those who have served and those still serving.”

Shall I stay? Would it be a sin

If I can't help falling in love with you?’

In the music video, the Swedish singers create a beautiful arrangement of the classic song ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love,’ and their harmonies are magnificent. The video is also visually lovely, with the group singing on a rooftop and a nice view behind them.

“I am melting. These men are truly gifted by God with their voices!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Just when I think they could not sound any better,  I'm transported to another level by their  heavenly voices!” writes another person online.

The group of five started their singing journey together in the summer of 2022. After their videos online took social media by storm, these singing fathers knew that they had an audience that appreciated their gifts and wanted to see live shows. And now, Dad Harmony is currently on tour in Sweden for the first time. Some of their big dreams as a group would be to line up tour dates in the United States and Asia, and they say they would love to sing with Elton John one day.

We hope that you enjoyed watching this video today of Dad Harmony performing their rendition of ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love.’

Dazzling A Cappella Cover of 'Sweeter As The Days Go By'

A group of incredibly gifted and skilled musicians, The Collingsworth Family, turned in a dazzling a cappella cover of the classic tune “Sweeter as the Days Go By.”

Those who have welcomed Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior know and understand that this is not the end. It is simply the first step, the beginning of a Christian’s walk and relationship with the Lord. There will be many more ups and even a few stumbles and falls that follow.

However, that person will grow in their faith and learn more about Christ over the course of that relationship. Through prayer and reading the Scripture, that individual will increasingly rely upon Him, seeing His hand at work in their lives and those of others.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Collingsworth Family gives a terrific and inspiring performance of “Sweeter as the Days Go By,” in which the only instruments used are God-given: their voices. It’s a performance that you’ll want to watch and listen to repeatedly. Their harmonies and how all their voices work together are astounding, creating an almost angelic sound.

The song describes a Christian’s walk with the Lord and how their faith and trust strengthen every day that they serve Him. The musicians sing about how they experience God’s love, mercy and grace in a richer and richer way than they did the day before. Those who have been serving and following Christ for years understand this to be entirely accurate.

“It gets sweeter as the days go by

It gets sweeter as the moments fly

His love is richer, deeper, fuller, sweeter

Sweeter, sweeter, sweeter as the days go by”

What a spectacular performance and display of musical talent, but an even better song that perfectly describes a walk with the Lord.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Conan O'Brien Stuns with Fantastic Cover of Elvis Presley's 'Suspicious Minds'

Check out this incredible performance. Conan O'Brien stuns with a fantastic cover of Elvis Presley's, 'Suspicious Minds.'

Who knew that Conan O’Brien was a great singer, as well as a performer? In this live performance, the band gets the audience pumped up for what they are about to hear and see. The lights are shining, and the music is phenomenal.

Conan enters the stage and introduces Danny Devito, his co-singer. He jokes that Austin Butler, who played Elvis in the movie, wrote the song. He comically begins to sing Suspicious Minds. Danny and Conan sing the classic Elvis hit. Danny sings harmonies with his hat and sunglasses on. Conan has a modern look with swooped hair, modeling after Elvis. The band jams out to the song, and Conan tries to stand like Elvis at the mic.

The chorus famously sings out:

‘We can't go on together with suspicious minds

And we can't build our dreams, on suspicious minds’

At the bridge, Conan tries to do his best Elvis impression. They rock the chorus together. Then, Conan walks forward on the stage, gets down on one knee, and sings out to New York. He is comically trying to be like Elvis but is definitely his own performer. They are very entertaining to watch in this tribute to the king of rock. The audience sounds like they are having a blast. The band speeds up at the end and finishes strong with their percussionists right on the beat. The lights flash to the rhythm of the music, and they end up celebrating. Conan makes a large jump on the final note, and he thanks the band and everyone for coming.

It is good to be remembered. Elvis has gone down in history as a wonderful songwriter and performer. Scripture teaches us to leave a legacy of the name of Jesus. No matter what we do, we can know that our impact for Him is everlasting when we honor the King of kings.
