Sometimes the pressure we feel doesn’t come from others—it comes from ourselves. We carry invisible checklists, unreachable standards, and impossible goals. We want to be everything to everyone and do it all perfectly. And when we fall short, we feel defeated, ashamed, and alone.

In today’s prayer, we lay down the weight of our own expectations and receive God’s grace instead. He doesn’t expect perfection—He offers presence. He meets us where we are, not where we think we should be. And His love remains steady even when we don’t.
Is God slow? Maybe we think He is at times, but, is He really? I don’t think so! If anything, God is waiting for me to get to the point to where I can accept His good and perfect will. Hmmmm …
