<p>One of the biggest names in music today stunned a philanthropic organization in the Charlotte, North Carolina area with a generous monetary donation. </p>

<p>The good Lord truly is an artist. The great outdoors is brimming with evidence of His wondrous works of art. The vast oceans, a breathtaking sunset and a striking, colorful sunrise are just a few examples of God’s artistry. However, technology's ever-growing and pervasive presence often keeps our faces glued to the screen instead of taking in all the beauty that lies outside.</p>

<p>One organization is trying to change that, showing kids that a whole world resides beyond the iPhone and Android screen. Camping with Cradle founder Keith Cradle appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and discussed the aim and mission of his organization.</p>

<p>“Well, I just love the outdoors and I know you do, too,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tThmbe2VCA">Keith said</a>. “But so many kids here in Charlotte just don’t have that opportunity. And so, we created Camping with Cradle to provide that outlet and that opportunity to get them backpacking, camping and hiking.”</p>

<p>Later in the segment, Keith mentioned to Kelly that all the camping equipment and the outings are provided to the children completely free of charge.</p>

<p>“That’s the whole reason why we do it,” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tThmbe2VCA">Keith said</a>. “We want to bridge that gap when it comes to access and inclusion in the outdoors and so all the outings are free. And for kids that go backpacking with us, they have an opportunity to keep that gear.”</p>

<p>Before the interview ended, Kelly surprised Keith with a $1,000 donation to his organization to show her support for all the good Keith is doing for the kids of Charlotte. </p>

<p>It may sound like an advertisement for Trader Joe’s, but Danielle Blakey’s TikTok video is perhaps an advertisement for kindness, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness. Those are three traits demonstrated by the employee who rang out Danielle on a recent bad day.</p>

<p>Danielle explains that she’s had a couple of really hard days, and she’d stopped into the store to pick up a few groceries, her cupboards and refrigerator bare. As she recounts the story, Danielle’s eyes are wet with tears, and her face is red. She shares that while she usually does a good job of hiding her emotions, she wasn’t that day. Although she wasn’t crying at the register, she was visibly down and sad, and the cashier noticed it.</p>

<p>The video includes a couple of subtitles. In the second, Danielle describes herself as “a pleaser,” so we understand when she says that she felt bad for not being friendly and responsive to the gentleman in the lane. While he’d tried to make conversation, she just wasn’t in a state of mind to do so.</p>
