In Jan 2010, 9 churches in Malaysia were burnt down within 4 days by radical Muslims due to a controversial court rule to allow using the word "Allah" in printed Christian materials as the general name for "God" in the Malay language. According to the Muslims in Malaysia, the use of the word "Allah" printed in Christian materials would confuse the Muslims and cause them to convert into Christianity. Apostasy in Islam is not allowed under the Islam rule and is considered an act of disgrace for the Muslims.

Prior to this incident, many Christians in Malaysia were afraid to worship outdoor as they feared criticism and persecution from their Islamic government and public. In May 2009, a pastor prophesized that the Christians in Malaysia will one day begin to hold outdoor crusades. Due to the loss of a proper place for some of the Christians to worship, the first outdoor crusade was held in June 2010 and was attended by 12,000 spectators. Over 800 accepted Christ.

The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary profess the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. These vows are a triple expression of a single yes to live a life totally given to Christ. These vows enable the Sister to be free of anything that would hinder her dedication to Jesus and the service of His Church.

Believers have been given the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy tries to cause fear to come to detour them from faith and put them on another course. They must contend for the faith by using their weapons which are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. The word of God is a weapon. It guides and protects you from all the schemes of the devil. Wearing the full armor of God keeps you hidden from the enemy.

Yes, come for rest. But stay for rest, too. Stop all feverish haste and be calm and untroubled. Come unto Me, not only for petitions to be granted but for nearness to Me. Be sure of My Help, be conscious of My Presence, and wait until My Rest fills your soul. Rest knows no fear. Rest knows no want. Rest is strong, sure. The rest of soft glades and peacefully flowing rivers, of strong, immovable hills. Rest, and all you need to gain this rest is to come to Me. So come.
