Meredith Andrews - What It Means To Love

After studying and learning about Jesus and His ways we quickly understand how much He loved all of us. The sick, the lame, the outcast, the philanthropist, the disciple, the worshiper, etc. Everyone. He is the perfect example of love. And his greatest demonstration of love was at the cross. So "how could I go back to life as usual?" And after realizing the magnitude of His love, "I just want to take Your story to the world." What a wonderful song by Meredith.

Susan Ashton - Love Will Be Our Home

I love songs about home and family. This song was written by Steven Curtis Chapman, who has written a *lot* of songs about home and family. This version is performed by Susan Ashton.

Revive - Blink

Life goes by so fast, in the blink of an eye it seems. This song tells us to slow down and make the most of every moment. Always ask ourselves "what have I done with my life?", or more importantly "what will I do with the rest of my life?". The first question leads to the second one.

Keith & Kristyn Getty - Behold The Lamb (Communion Hymn)

An achingly beautiful song by Keith & Kristyn Getty from their wonderful album "Awaken The Dawn", one of the best albums I have heard in a long time. They co-wrote the song along with their buddy Stuart Townend. Jesus, the Lamb of God, who came to take away our sin.

Joy Williams - Better Than I

Sometimes we try to take decisions into our own hands, even though Proverbs 3:5 admonishes us not to do that - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." The fact is that He knows "better than I". God tells us that in Isaiah 55:9 - "...my thoughts and my ways are higher than yours..." Well, duh! Why do we have so much trouble understanding that? So when we have decisions to make the very first thing we need to do is pray for guidance. But a couple of problems arise. First, we get impatient, because God has His own perfect timing and wants us to wait, and we usually don't and then we "lean on our own understanding." Secondly, sometimes He gives us the answer but we're not listening and we miss it, and we "lean on our own understanding." So, the solution is: pray, wait, listen.
He knows "better than I".

Kristen Chenoweth - Because He Lives

A classic gospel song written by Bill & Gloria Gaither and sung by Kristin Chenoweth. "And life is worth the living just because He lives". Yes, indeed!

Meredith Andrews - In Your Arms (w/Jared Anderson)

A beautiful and brilliant song written and performed by Meredith Andrews and Jared Anderson (Jared, of Desperation Band and New Life Worship fame). I love the first two verses in particular, especially the very first line "I'm turning the world off, embracing the silence". You have to be careful there; it doesn't mean that we should ignore the world altogether. The Great Commission says otherwise, that we are to reach out. I think it's saying that we should ignore the aspects of the world that might bring us down. And that's what Romans 12:2 says - "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

This song is from Meredith's album "As Long As It Takes", which won the Dove Award for the Worship Album Of The Year. An outstanding album, which I highly recommend.

Carrie Underwood - There's A Place For Us (Chronicles of Narnia)

From the movie "Chronicles of Narnia". The movie has many Christian sentiments. The song reminds us that God made each of us uniquely, and that He has a unique plan for each and every one of us (Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you...plans to give you hope and a future.") I am also reminded of the words of Jesus shortly before His death (John 14:2 - "...I go to prepare a place for you..."). Yes, there is a place for us, for those who believe. What a comfort that is. Thank You, Lord.

Carrie Underwood - I'll Stand By You

I chose to interpret this as a Christian song, where I represents Jesus. I know I'll catch a lot of flak for that, but so be it. It's called artistic license. If anyone else wants to interpret it differently, fine, make your own video. Anyway, regardless of what this song is really about, the fact is that, yes, Jesus *will* stand by us, no matter what. He promised us that. In fact, his last words on this earth (until He returns) were in Matthew 28:20 - I am with you always, even to the end of the age. (BTW, the title slide says this song is from the movie "Lion King", but I think I am mistaken there. Sorry.)

Carrie Underwood - So Small

Sometimes life gets messy and complicated. But often it's a case of making a mountain out of a molehill. That's what this song is about. We need to keep leaning on our faith and in the end God will bring a happy ending. He has a reason for everything that happens in our lives. Romans 8:28 says "...in all things God works for the good of those who love him..." Thank you, Lord.

I Found out I’m Adopted

Disbelief, confusion and anger are common reactions to finding out you are adopted. John Ceasor grew up not knowing that the man he called “Father” was not his biological dad.

Finding out you are adopted can be devastating. Questions may run through your mind like why me and who am I? It is okay to feel this way, but remember God has a plan for your life. The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

How to deal with your feelings when you find out you are adopted:
• Trust God with all thine heart
• Talk about how you feel
• Ask questions

How will you help someone who is adopted?

The World of Biblical Times creates alternative forms of biblical learning by visual expressions (comic books) and imagination (cartoons) in the Arts. John Ceasor is one of the biblical characters created. To learn more visit www.theworldofbiblicaltimes.org.

Addison Road - This Little Light Of Mine

Every child remembers the song "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine". This is a variation of that song by Addison Road. Such a delightful creation. Written by Addison Road, based on a passage from the sermon on the mount, Matthew 5:14-16:

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

Sandi Patty - Faith Dancing

We all struggle. When we do there is one place we can always turn: lift our eyes to our God in heaven. That's what this song is about. Leaning on our faith and getting it "dancing". A wonderful song from a wonderful album by Sandi Patty, called "Edge Of The Divine". I can't recommend this album enough. It's much more edgy than Sandi's previous stuff, not that her previous stuff was not great, too, but this is a different and refreshing approach for her. I strongly urge everyone to check it out.

Song written by Gwen Smith, Sue Smith, and Barry Weeks.

Psalms 139

The other day I was pretty down but I read Psalms 139 and just was overcome with encouragement. So I made this video. Share it with anyone who is feeling depressed, low on self-confidence, or even just needs some encouragement. Enjoy :)
(Sorry if it's bad quality, It's my first video =D )

Lincoln Brewster/Darlene Zschech - The Power Of Your Name

A very creative and imaginative song by Lincoln. Near the beginning he had his grandmother play the piano. Then shortly after that the percussive beat is the sound of the heartbeat of his son Liam taken during a sonogram. Very cool, a multi-generational accompaniment team!

Darlene Zschech of Hillsong accompanies him here and does a wonderful job. They blend together nicely. Lincoln wrote the song along with Mia Fieldes of Hillsong fame.

Let Your kingdom come! By the power of Your name!

Rebecca St. James - Above All Things

She recorded this in 1994 at the age of 17. Beautiful job! The song was written by Eddie DeGarmo. Our God is indeed "above all things", isn't He?
