JesusAmazed at Nazareth's Unbelief

Jesus returns to his own city and is amazed at their unbelief and cannot receive His great works and miracles. Prophet is not received in His own city.

Prayer for the "Haves" and the "Have Nots"

A Prayer asking God to help us reach out to those in need. Asking God to forgive us for our neglect in loving Him and another. Asking God to lead those who HAVE to help those who HAVE NOT. Asking God to bring forth the needed connections, individually, locally, and globally for needs to be met and for people to find the Lord.

A Look at The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Gateway Worship - Stay Amazed (feat. Kirsten Takape)

From the fantastic album "The More I Seek You". I can't say enough about this album. Wonderful stuff. Kari Jobe shines, of course, but on this song Kirsten Takape sings lead and does an inspiring job. A song written by Klaus Kuehn, Jamie Birkenfield, and Robert Quintana.

Karen Peck & New River - Broken Into Beautiful

From their recent album "Reach Out", this is a song about how God can take something that's broken and make it new and beautiful. Whether it be a hurting heart, an empty heart, an infirmity, low self-esteem, God can fix it if we only put it in His hands and trust Him. In God's eyes we are "valued, priceless, and adored".

The song was written by Gwen Smith, Sue Smith, and Chad Cates.

Chris August - Starry Night

God is majestic, and this song is about His majesty. I don't know much about Chris August other than that he toured with Ashlee Simpson for a while but then eventually missed recording Christian music, so he shifted his focus. Good for him!

Susan Ashton - Stand

From the "Best Of" CD called "So Far", this was a newly-released track. One of Susan's best efforts ever. Written by Lorraine Ferro, Tanya Leah, and Joanne Sonderling.

Selah - Moments Like These

This is a touching song written by Todd Smith and Michael Boggs, from Selah's new album "Hope Of The Broken World". I was hesitant to create this video because it's a deeply personal song based on Todd's memories of his daughters as they have grown and thinking about special "moments like these". I decided to go ahead and make the video anyway. Sorry if anyone thinks it's too intrusive of me.

Todd sings lead vocal here and Michael Boggs plays acoustic guitar.

Sanctus Real - Lead Me

I attended a men's breakfast at my church last month. The speaker challenged the men to be leaders of their families. Nothing new there, we know we're supposed to do that. But he gave a special challenge. He told us to take time each day and read the Bible to our wives. Yes, we study the Bible together, but he told us to be disciples to our wives and just pick out a Bible passage and share it with her. I thought that was such a cool notion, and I have been doing it every day. It's been very special. What better way to lead than to share God's Word. This song speaks about a man's role in leading his family. It's an awesome responsibility. I hope this song moves all of you men out there. And I hope it touches the women, too, to let you know that we as men care deeply for you. The song was written by Chris Rohman, Jason Ingram, and Matt Hammitt.

Robin Mark - Soul's Desire

Robin Mark is a worship artist from Northern Ireland. This song was inspired by his youngest son James. Robin was reminded that even a young child can worship God in the simplest of ways; it doesn't have to be deep. God just wants us to please him in everything we do, and that should be our soul's desire.

God's amazing love in Jesus Christ

"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." - (Rev. 3:20)

God's love is for all people without exception, unconditionally, without limit or favouritism, expressed through Him reaching out to us, knocking on the door to our hearts through Jesus Christ. There's no darkness in Him; He outshines the darkness of the world, guiding us back home, looking continually to the horizon for our return, ready for our welcome embrace. Jesus has come to us, if we would only put our trust in Him, calling out to Him who is eager to forgive and reconcile us.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. … for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ” - (Rom. 10:9,13)

Can Money Destroy a Family?

Can money destroy a family? Most will say yes it can! Miriam and Aaron Watter’s are of a different opinion. The twins, who do not have a lot, are in a family from a solid foundation based on the love of God, parent’s commitment, and honesty amongst each other, not on the almighty dollar. Their friends’ parents allow money and material things to control their lives causing unhappiness, divorce, and chaos.

The Bible says, “But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition” (1 Timothy 6:9).
Tips for a solid family foundation:
• The love of God
• The love family
• The love of others

Many family foundations are solid, but some are not. Which is yours?
