I made a video last week for a modernized version of "Fairest Lord Jesus", by Ross Parsley and New Life Worship from Colorado Springs. I couldn't decide whether to make a video for that version of the song or Christy Nockels' version. So I decided, what the heck, I'll make videos for both versions. Here is the video for Christy's version. The arrangement and extra lyrics are by Christy and her husband Nathan. One of my favorite hymns ever, and this is a nice departure from the traditional version. Christy's rendition is supremely spirited and passionate. Oh, this version is found on the Passion CD "Hymns, Ancient & Modern", a must-have.

She was at her death bed and if she was ever to recover from the disease she would never be able to have children. While she was in the Hospital a sister of hers told her about God and she found the void in her life and replaced doing drugs and drinking and hanging out with the wrong crowds with having a personal relationship with God.
