How well do you know your child? What is your child's #1 friend? Favorite color? Favorite class? What's an issue they need to resolve? What game do they like to play? Do you REALLY know your child? The more you know your child, the greater impact you will have in their life. Why is this important? Because a child will project the image of their earthly father upon our Heavenly Father.
One of the greatest impacts on this world is a loving family -- what a great testimony for God! Work together as a family to see how you can impact the world around you. The more aware we are of our kids, the more we are able to see if they're developing healthy values and relationships, and how we can help them improve. Parenting is exciting but it requires a lot of effort!
Mom & Dad are the first models for our children and our model to our children will override anything that's in the world. Find positive and negative examples in the news to discuss.
This short video asks pointed questions for you to consider with the hope you will start reading Bible devotions to draw closer to God through His words.
Death is a part of life, and we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. The dead in Christ will rise and be with the Lord forever.
When we die we want to be prepared to go with the Lord. We must follow the plan of salvation to enter the joy of the Lord.
Plan of Salvation: • Hear the word. (Romans 10:17) • Believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (John 3:16) • Repent of your sins. (Acts 2:28) • Be baptized. (Acts 8:36-38)
The Bible says, "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation," (John 5:28-29).
