Hemstreet, Founder and Owner of Shilo Inns, learned a lot about the hospitality business from his mother and father. He demonstrated his entrepreneurial abilities at the age of 16 as summer manager of a small motel. He cultivated an early vision of developing the best independent hotel/motel/resort chain in the Pacific Northwest.

• IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • Trade scrip expires 01/01/2019.  Sorry no extensions will be granted.  Some exclusions apply depending on location of Inn.  See below for more specific exclusions.
  • Trade scrip may be used for a maximum of ten rooms per night unless arrangements are made with hotel in advance.
  • To redeem scrip, reservations must be made by calling 1-800-222-2244 and are upon availability only. Please state that Shilo scrip will be used for payment.
  • Original trade scrip and photo identification must be presented at check-in.  No photocopies or faded copies will be accepted.
  • Rates will be charged at 'rack' rates.  No discounts or commercial rates will be given.
  • Reservations are not automatically guaranteed.  Guest must guarantee reservation with a personal credit card for late arrival.
  • Shilo scrip is for lodging only.  All other charges such as tax, phone calls, room service, restaurant and lounge charges, etc. must be paid with cash or credit card at time of check-out.  Credit for such charges should be established upon check in with credit card.
  • Scrip is not replaceable if lost or stolen.
  • Scrip must be valid at time of stay.
  • Exclusions:
  • All Shilo affiliate hotels.
  • Holiday periods, including Spring Break and during special local events, at the following hotels: Bend, Newport, Seaside, & Ocean Shores.
  • Newport and Seaside Oceanfront in Oregon and Ocean Shores, WA  from May 15^th thru Sept 15^th
  • Bend, OR: weekends, December 15^th thru April 15^th
